Quotes and pricing

How much does a website cost?

Professional websites start at $300, and most standard website projects fall between $300 and $700 depending on size, pages, features, integrations and complexity. Web applications, dashboards, integrations, e-commerce and complex custom work are quoted individually. You always receive a quote before any paid work begins.

Do I need to pay anything to get a quote?

No. Tell me about your project through the quote form or by email and I'll reply with a proposal. The quote is free; the project is paid work.

Can I book a consultation first?

Yes. Choose "Book a consultation" on the quote page and suggest days and times; I confirm by email.

Do you provide maintenance?

Yes: Astra Care ($10/month) for basic care and Astra Plus ($39/month) with security-focused maintenance, technical SEO support, monitoring and priority support. No website or security service can guarantee prevention of every cyberattack or compromise.

What is Astra Care?

Astra Care is the basic website care plan at $10/month. It covers routine website checks, basic updates, minor content changes, link checks, basic maintenance, backup checks where configured, a general website health review and assistance when minor problems occur. Plans cover routine care, not unlimited work.

What is Astra Plus?

Astra Plus is the $39/month plan for maintenance, security-focused care, technical SEO and Google indexing support, monitoring and priority support. It includes everything in Astra Care plus security-focused maintenance, configuration reviews, HTTPS/SSL checks, dependency and software updates where applicable, basic uptime monitoring, backup checks, broken link checks, performance checks, Google Search Console support, sitemap monitoring and submission assistance, indexing checks, technical SEO maintenance, small content adjustments and priority support. Security-focused maintenance is designed to reduce common website risks. No website or security service can guarantee prevention of every cyberattack or compromise.

Your website

Who owns my domain?

You do. Your domain stays yours. Clients purchase and maintain ownership of their own domain registration.

Do you buy my domain?

No. You register it in your own name so it stays under your control, and I can help you connect it. Domain costs aren't included unless specifically agreed.

Can you redesign my current website?

Yes. Website redesign is a core service: outdated layouts, responsiveness, performance, structure and usability.

Do you build mobile-friendly websites?

Yes. Every site is built responsively for phones, tablets and desktops.

Can you build web applications?

Yes: client-facing applications, internal tools, dashboards and custom functionality, quoted individually.

Who owns the completed website?

You do, once the project is paid in full; your content is always yours and your domain is always yours. The Terms of Service cover the details.

Can you add pages or features later?

Yes. Sites are built to grow; new work is quoted based on the effort, and minor changes may be covered by a care plan. Existing clients can send the request through Client Support.

Working together

Can you work with clients outside Idaho?

Yes. I'm based in the Boise, Idaho area and take on remote projects; everything can be handled online.

What information do you need to begin?

What your business or project is, what the site should do, any existing website, and your preferences for colors and style. Logos, photos and text help if you have them.
